Fancy & Trend, a Taiwan-based firm specializing in high quality, innovative cosmetic and skin care packaging, has developed a series of square mascara containers made from Polypropylene (PP). Combining a classical, square shape for the exterior with durable PP, these mascaras provide not only elegant look but also great chemical resistance capabilities.
Over the years, mascara has evolved passed the point of being a simple mix of carbon powder and petroleum jelly. More and more, formulae have been invented to meet consumers’ needs in different markets around the world. Sometimes, standard materials such as ABS or PETG may not be suitable for all compositions. Based on this situation, Fancy & Trend has made molds which can do PET-G and PP for different customers to meet their needs in all circumstances.
“With strong tenacity and great acid/alkali resistance, Polypropylene (PP) is one of the best choices as a material for mascara packaging. Besides, in order to be more friendly to our environment, Polypropylene (PP) is a good material for the planet because it can be fully recycled and produces less toxic matter, even when burned. By using this material, we can do more for our planet and to create a better brand image for our consumers,” said Aaron Lin, sales manager for the company.
Differing only in height, and maintaining the same length and width, these mascara tubes can be a series of products for brand owners to have different marketing strategies in the same market. The company can also provide numerous types of mascara brushes that can be used for different formulae.
The company offers three configurations for this product:
